The purpose of the Rhode Island colloquium is to provide engineering and language educators, international program administrators, deans, provosts, presidents, corporate leaders, as well as public sector representatives a forum for discussing and sharing ideas and practices pertaining to the education of American engineers for today's global workplace. As in the past seven years, the program will feature representatives from higher education, global business and industry, as well as the public sector. Engineering, language and international program educators will be present, along with corporate executives and personnel directors, and members of government, education, and public policy agencies.
