TitleCall for Articles: Association for Language Learning
Body
I am writing from the UK where I am Director of the major association for foreign language teachers, the Association for Language Learning. We publish a number of professional journals for teachers of specific languages and are currently calling for articles for our Spanish journal Vida Hispanica. The journals are sent to members of the Association - mainly language teachers and trainers in schools and other institutions in the UK and overseas - as well as libraries worldwide which subscribe to them.

We are interested to receive articles about action research, language teaching methodology, culture and topical issues in the Spanish speaking world and would very much welcome articles from members of this forum. Why not write about a new subject and share your thoughts and ideas with language teachers in the UK? Our teachers are interested in reading about the ideas you're using in your lessons. Worksheets you have created, together with explanations of how you used them in practice, and evaluations are always of interest to other professionals. Alternatively, have you found new ways of bringing across a difficult point to a challenging class which you could share with others?

Articles can be written in English or Spanish and may deal with any aspect of contemporary language, literature and culture. Contributions to the journals generally fall into one of two categories:
(a) Articles or reports of between 3000-4000 words
(b) Shorter articles of up to 1000 words that might include items of information, notes on innovative classroom practice, worksheets and discussion points

If you would like to submit an article or require further information, such as how to submit an article, please email Dawns@all-languages.org.uk. Or you can mail me lindap@all-languages.org.uk

With very best wishes,
