This GM Today article reports on the success of a Wisconsin elementary school where earlier grades are taught primarily in Spanish. Like many schools across the nation, fourth-grade reading scores are up at Banting Elementary, and officials say that teaching in one language or the other -- not in both -- was the key, and that this trend will lead to a better-educated Hispanic community.
