Body | Three years ago, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization gave endangered language status to Ladino, the dying language spoken by only a few since the end of WWII. Thanks to this and other endeavors to save the language from extinction, by musicians, authors, and universities, the language spoken by the Sephardim is experiencing a revival.
