| Title | Job Posting: Danish Examiner for International Baccalaureate Organization |
| Body | The International Baccalaureate Organization is currently seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of examiner responsible for the Danish B second language course. The International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO), aimed at 16-18 year olds, provides an international pre university curriculum and an international university entry qualification which gives access to higher education on a world-wide basis. The B programme is a foreign language learning programme designed for study at both higher and subsidiary levels by students with previous experience (between 2 and 5 years) of learning the language. The main focus on the programme is on language acquisition and development. The duties of the post of examiner responsible include the setting and marking of examinations and may involve occasional (paid) travel to the IB curriculum and assessment centre in Cardiff. Please note that this post does not involve relocation to an IB office; the duties of this post are normally carried out alongside other professional and academic commitments. Professionals of the following background are invited to apply: - Native (or fluent) speakers of Danish. - Degree in Danish. - Teaching experience. - Examining experience (desirable but not essential). The IBO is a non-profit educational foundation based in Switzerland; it is now represented in over 100 countries and in nearly 1,000 schools.
