Body | The Department of German and the Kade Center at Dickinson College, in conjunction with the online scholarly journal Glossen, will host a Symposium on the works of Hans Joachim Schädlich from October 7-8, 2005 at Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA. You are very welcome to attend all of the events! Schedule of events: Friday, October 7, 2005 -- Public Reading Public Reading by Hans Joachim Schädlich in the Blumberg area of the College's library at 8 p.m. Saturday, October 8 -- Presentations and discussion in Weiss 235 2:00 p.m. Heinz Ludwig Arnold, Göttingen: "Der subersive Chronist Hans Joachim Schädlich." 3:00 p.m. Theo Buck, Aachen: "'Schürfarbeit' im Bewußtsein. Zu Schädlichs Roman "Schott." 4:00 p.m. Wolfgang Müller, Carlisle: "Intertextualität und Hypertextualität -- zu Tiefendimensionen in den Texten Hans Joachim Schädlichs." -- Concert 20:00 o'clock in the Weiss Center Jennifer Blyth, pianist, will play works by Bach-Busoni, Charles Ives, Ravel, and Wagner.
