TitlePaper Bag Activity Gets Students Out of Their Seats and Talking
Body
The following activity was submitted to the AATG listserv as a fun way to talk about food. It could easily be used for a variety of languages, levels, topics, structures, and even ages.

----

I use a paper bag activity for my food unit. I have cut out pictures of food and beverages and put a variety (4-5) of items in each bag. The kids have to find a partner and ask/tell what they have, say whether or not they like those things, and then pick one thing they do not like and find someone who will trade. They have to trade with at least three people and at the end, I make them stand up and tell what is in their lunch bag. I begin the activity by telling them I brought lunch for everyone. This is good for getting them out of their seats and they seem to have fun with it.
