Title | Inuit Language Conference Falls Back on English |
Body | Delegates from Alaska, Canada, Greenland, and Russia converged in Canada recently for a conference on strategies for reviving Inuit languages. While attendees were excited to hear so many speaking Inuit, the diversity of dialects made communication difficult without relying on English.
