Our company was founded by educators committed to students and families who speak other languages. Our mission is to promote effective communication between school and families across cultural and linguistic barriers. ABC Languages knows that communication is one of the keys to success in education; we would like to assist your district to accomplish this goal. Our translators and interpreters are trained to communicate school information related to local districts, Oregon standards and benchmarks, and educational system in the United States. The staff members of ABC Languages are pleased to offer their services for parent-teacher conferences, parent meetings, and any other communication needs. Our professional staff is experienced in the medical terminology and disability related language necessary to interpret and translate in Special Education settings. ABC Languages has the capability to provide translation and interpretation to clients with languages spanning the five continents. Our staff has a multicultural expertise needed to appropriately assist families. ABC Languages would like your school district to consider us as your best resource for any needed translation and interpretations. We are looking forward to serving your school and families. Price List Oral Interpreting - Appointment one hour minimum $30.00 - The following hour is paid by fraction Telephone conference - first ten minutes $10.00 - Each additional minute $ 1.50 Written translation - Single page $35.00 - Multiple pages $ 0.17 per word Teaching - Student instruction - one hour minimum $30.00 (Instruct students to develop reading and writing skills) - Developing CIM work samples Single page $35.00 Multiple pages $ 0.17 per word Language List Arabic Cantonese Czech Farsi French Greek Hebrew Italian Japanese Korean Mandarin Romanian Russian Spanish Ukrainian Vietnamese Interpreters with other languages can be contracted upon request.
