Body | Taiwan's Ministry of Education has invited linguists and language teachers to design a Chinese-learning curriculum to better assist the more than 125,000 foreign spouses who come to the country knowing little or nothing about its language and culture. While most textbooks are designed around the level of difficulty of the language and its characters, adult learners just beginning their studies have different needs and need specialized materials.
