Body | It is estimated that only 25 percent of children in Canada's Northwest Territories can speak or understand their native language. While a curriculum for indigenous language instruction exists, content and methods vary widely. An upcoming workshop by the N.W.T.'s department of Education Culture and Employment aims to improve instruction and success rates.
