| Body | I have just discovered a wonderful resource for listening comprehension in advanced Spanish classes. If you have the most updated version of I-Tunes (I dowloaded 4.9), you can receive podcasts. If you seach under "News", there is an ABC news broadcast in Spanish with David Puentes. Each week you can listen to two minutes broadcasts from the Spanish speaking world. If you subscribe (and it's FREE), you can receive these each week, save to your I-Tunes files, and burn a Cd after every couple of broadcasts. I plan on using these in my AP class. Incidentally, this will be great practice for the new AP exam in 2007 when students will have to synthsise information they hear in a radio broadcast to either write an essay or prepare an oral report.
