| Title | Spanish Department Web Site Offers Useful Links |
| Body | I have just completed a revision of the Spanish Department website, complete with student (and faculty) resources such as cultural links, various Power Point files, cultural projects, and course syllabi. The home page is http://www.northpark.edu/spanish/default.cfm The student resource pages are organized around our first-year curriculum, which is a two-semester sequence (Spanish 1010 and 1020). We use Panorama as our basal text for the two courses, so the materials are organized by unit (Lecciones 1-7 for 1010 and Lecciones 8-13 for 1020). The student resource pages can be found at http://www.northpark.edu/spanish/Spanish1010.cfm and http://www.northpark.edu/spanish/Spanish1020.cfm . I've also added a separate page that organizes the 54 different Power Point files by topic (verb-related, other grammar topics, and vocabulary). I've also included the 13 "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" slideshows that I use as end-of-semester reviews for both courses. The Power Point page is http://www.northpark.edu/spanish/PowerPoints.cfm A different country is featured in every unit of the text, so I have added 40-50 links of interest for each country studied. The links are arranged topically (general, media, cities & sites, history & society, arts & entertainment). I checked every link (about 700 in all) to make sure they were all working and added a few more. There is a separate page (http://www.northpark.edu/spanish/Links.cfm ) with links of general interest. Several of these links were suggested or created by FLTEACH list members, so I thank you for posting interesting websites to the entire list when you find them!
