Body | A recent request on the FLTEACH listserv for contemporary music suggestions to use in French class received the following suggestions. ---- There is a wonderful story about contemporary singer Carole Fredericks on the National Public Radio site. You can hear the interview, listen to the music, see a video and download 2 or 3 free lessons. Here is the link: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=3857380 A free lesson and additional information about this artist is available at: http://www.cdfmusiclegacy.com Click on the "language program" photo to enter this section of the website. Another free lesson is available at: http://www.tralco.com. Look for the story in "About An Author". Download the lesson in the "Lesson Plans" section. An entire language unit was developed around this artist and is available on the American Association of Teachers of French web site: http://www.frenchteachers.org Gadbois, N. French cloze exercises.
