| Body | From: http://www.ncela.gwu.edu/enews/2005/0510.htm#RussianLanguage National Security Education Program Deadline for proposals: June 3, 2005 The Academy for Educational Development, acting as the administrative agent of the National Security Education Program (NSEP) for the National Flagship Language Initiative (NFLI), seeks proposals from U.S. institutions of higher education to develop and implement innovative on-campus programs of advanced instruction in Russian to increase the number of U.S. students advancing to professional levels of language competency. These on-campus programs will prepare students for entry into the existing advanced NFLI overseas Russian instructional program at St. Petersburg State University.
