The theme for the conference is, "Excellence and Equity For All." Conference organizers are accepting proposals for people interested in leading workshops that will fit under the conference theme and bring a No Child Left Behind (NCLB) perspective to the following subject areas: Classroom/content-area teachers Students ESL Teachers/Paraeducators Administrators Parents Tribes and Communities Culture/Language/Literature Research Resources Related Arts: world languages, art, technology, physical education and music Please contact Fawn Jelinek at the Fairbanks Northstar Borough School District for more information on workshop proposal submission. The deadline for proposal submission is May 13, 2005, and selection notifications will be made by May 27, 2005.
