And also learn about the culture and history of an important Latin American country? Then you should take part in the University of Washington 2005 Intensive Summer Institute for Secondary Spanish Teachers. Institute participants also visit rural schools and establish relationships with Guatemalan teachers. They live and eat with Guatemalan families during the time they study. Trips to beautiful natural sites around the cities of Antigua, Panajachel and Lake Atitlán are taken as well.
