| Body | The DEFA (Deutsche Filmaktiengesellschaft) East German Film Archive at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst is releasing two East German films on DVD in the US for the first time. "Sun Seekers," banned by the Soviets on its original release, tells the story of life in a 1950s forced labor camp. "The Architects" describes a young East Berlin architect whose novel designs cause turmoil in several aspects of his life.
