A recent request on the FLTEACH listserv for special education resources received the following suggestions. The first section consists of an e-mail excerpt and the second of recommended URLs.

Jessica, If you take a look at the April issue of The Foreign Language Educator, there is a great article entitled "Can Teens with Serious Learning Problems Learn a Foreign Language?". Ms. Cusimano gives a lot of great ideas on how to accomodate students with special needs. It is located right after the article about the trilingual Navajo school which is also an excellent article.
