Specifically, the post focuses advanced and context-specific vocabulary to use when complaining, and it provides a few exercises for learners to check their understanding of said vocabulary. Educators are encouraged to explore this post as one way to improve learners’ understanding of strategies they might use when complaining, and to supplement the post with additional pragmatics resources from Dancing with Words, a website created and hosted by the Center for Advanced Research on Language Acquisition.
