TitleDistance Course: Integrating the Internet into the German Classroom
BodyGerman Online Distance Education Network (GOLDEN) is offering two 4-week modules created by Donna Van Handle and Renate Saggau on integrating the Internet into the German language classroom. The first 4-week module will begin April 1 and finish April 26. This workshop will help German teachers locate and evaluate Internet resources for German instruction. The discussion component will allow you to share ideas with your peers about classroom implementation.

The second 4-week module is entitled Creating Internet-based Materials for German instruction: Web pages and Web Sites (May 6 - June 3, 2005). This workshop provides practical information and resources to enable you to create your own web page or web site. The cost of each workshop is $125 and you will be awarded a CEU certificate through the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. The instructor/facilitator for both modules is Margaret Plank.

Space is limited to 15 participants. If you wish to participate, please contact Stephen Panarelli (skp@unl.edu) for further instructions.
