This article outlines a series of virtual reality training modules for Spanish-English Medical Interpreting being developed at the University of Iowa. These modules, which will be completed in fall 2022 and accessible for free on YouTube, aim to give learners practice interpreting between medical staff and Spanish speaking patients in a realistic, 360 degree virtual reality environment. This would be a useful resource for learners of English and Spanish interested in Community Interpreting and Medical Interpreting.
