Anishinaabemodaa, or Waking Up Ojibwe, is a program that provides free online resources for learning Anishinaabemowin, the Ojibwe language. The program has two main goals: to indigenous language with curricula and teaching materials and to increase the number of students who study Ojibwe formally in school and community programs. It does this by offering resources along four main language tracts: 1) families who want to teach their children, 2) learners of any age, 3) individuals who want to train to become teachers, and individuals who work in professions where knowledge of Anishinaabemowin is important. Learners and teachers can easily navigate the site to find resources tailored to their level and needs.
