This week, we continue our focus on pragmatics, or the way people express and interpret meaning. This week’s activity and video provide learners with tips for recognizing and dealing with language variety as they build their analysis skills, or the skills needed to communicate and understand intended meaning (i.e., illocutionary force). There are a few ways to get connected with us this week:
