This week, we continue our exploration of the basics of language learning by providing an overview of the many ways in which Intermediate language learners can communicate and start living their lives in the target language. 

There are a few ways to get connected with us this week:

• Join our InterCom Live! session. We connect on Facebook every Monday at 11:00 am Pacific. To join us, open CASLS's Facebook page at the designated time. Can't make it? The InterCom Live! events are always recorded, and you can find them on our Facebook page.
• Check out the Activity of the Week. This week, learners brainstorm advanced descriptors to support their ongoing proficiency development.
• This FluentU blog post provides a variety of strategies to support Intermediate learners as they continue developing their language proficiency. Although its depiction of proficiency development is a bit linear and simplistic, the ideas and resources would be useful to share with any Intermediate learner.
