There are a couple of ways to interact with this week's theme of strategies for language learning (see this week's Activity of the Week taken from CASLS's Self-Directed Learning Module).

• Join our InterCom Live! session. We connect on Facebook every Monday at 11:00 am Pacific. To join us, open CASLS's Facebook page at the designatied time. Can't make it? The InterCom Live! events are always recorded, and you can find them on our Facebook page.
• Before diving in, consider the relatioship between the explicit modeling and instruction of langauge strategies and learner-centered classrooms. As you consider the inherent implications, it may be beneficial to read Bishop, Canston, and King's (2014) and Cohen, Oxford, and Chi's (2002) surveys. 
• Test your knowledge and comprehension by seeing if you can complete this language learning strategy puzzle!
