Students have expressed that it helps them connect with their cultures and receive important knowledge from other tribal members. Heart Butte High School has also received a grant to begin Blackfeet language classes which will help students learn everyday terms. The school’s goal is for students and teachers to interact with each other in the Blackfeet language daily.
