Native American fry bread is a food traditionally made from government rations that brings people together. It is also the subject of a new children’s book written by Kevin Noble Maillard, who saw a shortage of children’s books about modern Native people. This book would add a fantastic cultural component to indigenous language classes or any American culture class.
