This article examines ImmerseMe, a VR app, and its effects on students’ language learning. This app allows students to have an immersive experience speaking with people from different cultures without having to leave the country, something that would be beneficial for those who do not currently have the capability to go abroad. Further, the app helps students build confidence in their speaking skills which can then be applied to other contexts.
