This blog posts gives Chinese language teachers an accessible list of books sorted by character level to help the teacher determine what is appropriate for their learners. Included are short synopses that could be provided to students to help them self-select literature that they are interested in reading. While this list is not extensive, it provides a great foundation for designing a new class or for differentiating the level of reading for students in a mixed-level class.
