Title | Welcome, Carla Consolini! |
Body | CASLS welcomes Carla Consolini, a graduate student in UO’s Language Teaching Studies program. Carla will be working on the Spanish version of the Intercultural, Pragmatic, and Interactional Competence (IPIC) measure. She will also be assisting with Intercom by curating links and contributing occasional articles. Carla says, “I have been interested in the processes and complexities of second language acquisition since I started learning a second language myself, a considerable amount of years ago. As time went by my interest became more academic and scientific. So, when I first learned about CASLS at the University of Oregon I knew where I wanted to be and the type of work I wanted to do. I am looking forward to learn as much as possible from the people I work with, and to be able to contribute to the field as much as I can.”
