In this article, the author discusses the changing policy and curriculum in Myanmar that is beginning to include the minoritized languages of Kadu, Kanae, and Shani Ni in the urban setting. It addresses the difficulties of this work in an urban environment where students speak such a variety of languages as well as how teachers are striving to develop the curriculum they need to best benefit all of their students.
