This interview describes the ways in which the modern language classroom has evolved from the one that many people remember from their youth. Memorization activities, summative exams, and rehearsed dialogues have been replaced with work in authentic texts and communicative competence. This resource is a good narrative version for those unfamiliar with the benefits of the ACTFL core practices for language classroom.
