Recently on the FLTEACH listserv, participants have been discussing independent adult language learning, and several have talked about their own experiences with the Conversation Exchange website. The website is exactly what it sounds like: a site where you can find people in your area who are interested in a conversation exchange, where, for example, half of the time you speak in the language one person is learning, and the other half you speak in the language the other person is learning. The site also facilitates "penpal" messaging through the website. Conversation Exchange is available at https://conversationexchange.com/
