Title Mississippi Seeks Public Comment on Mississippi Seal of Biliteracy Policy and Guidelines

The Mississippi Seal of Biliteracy is a recognition given by participating districts to students who have studied and attained proficiency in English and at least one or more world languages by high school graduation and will be noted on the student’s transcript. A state policy and guidelines have been developed to assist districts in implementation.
On August 15, 2019, the State Board of Education (SBE) granted approval to begin the Administrative Procedures Act (APA) process to establish the following State Board Policy and Guidelines for the Mississippi Seal of Biliteracy.
