The Editors of the International Journal of Computer-Assisted Language Learning and Teaching (IJCALLT) would like to invite those who presented at CALICO 2019 and IALLT 2019 to consider submitting a manuscript for inclusion in this scholarly journal.

 

Types of Submissions

• Empirical research 

• Conceptual models / theory building

• Innovative methodologies and applications

• Media reviews on selected books, textbooks, and technologies

• Essays on specific topics dealing with values, concepts, and breakthrough applications

We invite papers on topics relevant (not limited) to the following:

• CALL & teacher education

• Web-based instructional design for foreign language instruction

• Web-based language assessment

• Web-based & resource-driven learning

• Using the internet for cultural exchange

• Corpus-based & data-driven learning

• Fostering autonomous learning through technology

• Lessons learnt in CALL

• E-learning, collaborative learning and blended learning

• Massive Online Open Courses (MOOCs)

• CALL in vocational education

 

Submission Procedure

Researchers and practitioners are invited to submit papers 5,000-8,000 in length for this themed issue. All submissions must be original and may not be under review by another publication. Interested authors should consult the journal’s guidelines for manuscript submissions at http://www.igi-global.com/journals/guidelines-for-submission.aspx . All submitted papers will be reviewed on a double-blind, peer review basis. Papers must follow APA style for reference citations. All manuscripts must be submitted through the eEditorial Discovery online submission manager.
