| Body | The Worthington Area Language Academy is a K-6 Two Way Spanish/English Immersion School opening this year in SW Minnesota. We are looking for five teachers who can qualify to be certified in MN for elementary or bilingual education by September, who are bilingual in Spanish and English, and who want to help create this new parent-run and initiated school. Cross cultural experience, experience in peace education, and a third language (such as Lao, Amharic, Mam, German, Chinese, Lakota, or Arabic) would be a plus. WALA is based on academic excellence, a 3-language model (70-20-10), multiculturalism, and nonviolence. We will add one grade level each year.
