| Body | Special Education Teacher, bilingual Spanish/English The Worthington Area Language Academy is a K-6 Two Way Spanish/English Immersion School opening this year in SW Minnesota. We are looking for a special education teacher who is bilingual in Spanish and English, and who wants to help create this new parent-run and initiated school. Cross cultural experience, experience in peace education, and a third language (such as Lao, Amharic, Mam, German, Chinese, Lakota, or Arabic) would be a plus. WALA is based on academic excellence, a 3-language model (70-20 10), multiculturalism, and nonviolence. Students will be mostly Latino, but will also include NE African, SE Asian, and Euro-Americans. We will add one grade level each year.
