The 2019 Regional Classroom Assessment in Language Teaching (CALT) Conference is being hosted by the University of Montana's English Language Institute on the Missoula campus, Friday, September 27th to Saturday, September 28th, 2019.

The CALT conference provides an opportunity for teachers, administrators and other language professionals to gather, share, and learn from each other while promoting increased assessment literacy in language education.

Dr. Eddy White will be the keynote speaker for the conference. He has been the Assessment Coordinator at the University of Arizona’s Center for English as a Second Language. And In 2016, he co-founded the Classroom Assessment in Language Teaching Conference at the University of Arizona.

Proposals related to research or investigations that focus on assessment in the language classroom are being accepted until August 9.
