Title | History of Russian Media from Gorbachev to Yeltsin |
Body | From the SEELANGS listserv: Here are two great resources: journalist Natalia Rostova (now in Washington DC) has compiled a history of Russia's media from Gorbachev http://gorbymedia.com to Yeltsin http://www.yeltsinmedia.com. The two sites would be terrific for late 20th c. culture courses (in Russian), for historical research, for advanced language courses, and just plain reading (it is sustained by donations). Natalia Rostova was senior correspondent at Slon.ru, staff writer at Segodnia, and author of articles in Nezavisimaia gazeta, Novaia gazeta, and Gazeta.ru. Thanks to Maxim Trudolubov (Kennan) for calling attention to it. Condee, N. [SEELANGS] Two great resources for late 20c. culture and politics.
