The LTRC organizing committee is inviting scholars to submit proposals for LTRC 2020 pre-conference workshops. The conference theme is “Assessment in multilingual contexts: models, practices, policies & challenges”.

 

The conference will take place on June 9-13, 2020, in Hammamet, Tunisia. The workshops will take place on June 9th and 10th. The duration of each workshop is one day. 

 

The following is a suggested list of topics but the organizers also invite proposals related to the conference theme at large. 

• Assessing reading, listening, speaking, writing, grammar, pragmatics, etc.

• Development and use of assessment tools such as rubrics

• Language assessment literacy

• Test adaptation & translation 

• Aligning curriculum and assessment to international standards

• Statistical analysis for teachers and/or language testing researchers 

• Measurement models (e.g., IRT)

• Designing, validating and using assessments of languages other than English

• Standard setting in multi-lingual contexts

 

Please submit a proposal no later than August 19, 2019.
