A Workshop for Experienced and New French DLI Teachers
July 8-12, 2019
University of Utah, Salt Lake City
This 5-day workshop will be offered in French, and it is specifically designed to meet the needs of French Dual Language Immersion teachers, new and already trained. The workshop has three main objectives:
• Empowering new teachers who are starting or joining a French DLI program.
• Presenting new techniques, resources and ideas to already established teachers.
• Building beyond a K-6 program.
Throughout the workshop, participants will work on curriculum development (elementary, secondary and beyond). Resources and curricula will be shared throughout the institute and teachers will develop lesson plans to help open and sustain their programs.
