| Title | Ethnic Foods in the Classroom |
| Body | A recent discussion on the FLTEACH listserv generated the following suggestions for bringing ethnic flavor to your classroom. ----- Last year I held a tropical fruit day in the spring. We had just read a story that mentioned several of them. Everyone got to taste different fruits, and our heritage students showed us all the correct way to cut a papaya. It was fun, didn't take too much time, no one had to cook anything, everyone participated, and I think it left an impression, as some of them still mention it. Tuttle, L. Re: Latin American foods.
