I am writing to spread the word that Meduza in English (meduza.io/en), the international arm of the independent Russian-language news outlet Meduza (meduza.io), has been expanding to include a broader range of cultural coverage. We hope that our stories on literature and the arts in the Russian-speaking world will be useful to you and your students. Like our daily newsletter and much of our news coverage, many of our updates on cultural events are exclusive to the English-language site and do not appear in Russian.

This morning, for example, an excerpt from Lisa Hayden's new English translation of Guzel Yakhina's debut novel, Zuleikha otkryvaet glaza, became available on our site: https://meduza.io/en/feature/2019/02/26/a-tale-of-resilience-and-love.

The bread and butter of our coverage still lies in translating the most interesting material that appears in Russian on meduza.io, and we hope having those pieces available in both languages will be helpful for Russian learners.
