| Title | Online Workshop: Multiliteracies in Mixed Classes: Strategies and Projects for Second Language and Heritage Language Learners |
| Body | In this virtual workshop, Dr. Rossy Lima will discuss the implementation of strategies that guide a reflective examination of culture, language use, and community building. She will describe concrete instructional practices such as cultural bricolage, story circles, and multimodal texts through units that can be included in the mixed language classroom (with L2 and HL students). Participants will examine multiliteracy practices, exploring projects that implement one or more of the strategies mentioned, and dissecting such strategies to create their own.
