The Confederation in Oregon for Language Teaching's annual spring conference this year is workshops-only. There are five tracks:

1. Harnessing Technology in the World Language Classroom: Explore, Create and Integrate Workshop presenter: Tara Miller
2. Integrated Performance Assessment and Instruction – Linking the Three Modes of Communication (Interpretive, Interpersonal and Presentational) to answer the question: What can learners do with what they know? Workshop presenter: Deborah Lindsay
3. Moving Beyond the Textbook: Building Authentic Language Skills in the L2 Classroom Workshop presenter: Darcy Rogers
4. Japanese Language Teachers Workshop: ACTFL Global Competence & Core Practice Feedback (for Japanese language teachers only) Workshop presenter: Dr. Watanabe
5. German Language Teachers Workshop: Culture in the Language Classroom and Curriculum (for German language teachers only) Workshop presenters: Lorely French and Natascha Milde

The conference will take place on March 2 at Linfield College in McMinnville.
