| Title | Call for Papers: 7th Annual International Conference of the Japanese Society for Language Sciences |
| Body | The Seventh Annual International Conference of the Japanese Society for Language Sciences will be held as follows. We welcome proposals for paper and poster presentations and for one symposium. * Date: June 25(Saturday)- 26 (Sunday), 2005 * Location: Sophia University (Yotsuya campus, Tokyo) * Plenary Speakers: - Dan I. Slobin (University of California, Berkeley), - Kensaku Yoshida (Sophia University) JSLS2005 Conference Committee Chair Hirohide Mori (Nihon University), and Kaoru Koyanagi (Sophia University) Abstracts are solicited for talks, posters, and symposiums on research pertaining to language sciences, including linguistics (phonology, morphology, semantics, pragmatics), first language acquisition, second language acquisition, bilingualism, psycholinguistics, language processing, language production, native language education, foreign language education, sochiolinguistics, discourse analysis, philosophy of language, natural language processing), neuroscience, among others. JSLS is committed to contribute to a better understanding of the human mind and brain through theoretical and corroborative approaches.
