| Body | From https://www.actfl.org/actfl2019 We hope that many of you are freshly returned from the 2018 ACTFL Annual Convention and World Languages Expo in New Orleans. Next year's convention will be Friday, November 22 through Sunday, November 24, 2019 (Pre-Convention Workshops scheduled on Thursday, November 21) at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Washington, DC, and the call for proposals is now open. The goal of the ACTFL Annual Convention is to provide a comprehensive professional development experience for language educators of all languages and levels. Compelling proposals address the needs of today’s learners and educators by focusing on innovative programs, emerging trends and research-informed practices.
