• The featured topics will be

Core Practice 2, Guiding Learners through Interpreting Authentic Resources

Core Practice 3, Design Oral Interpersonal Communication Tasks

Core Practice 4, Plan with Backward Design Model

• 64 other sessions will be presented on a wide variety of topics, ranging from the application of the other Core Practices (#1 Facilitate Target Language Comprehensibility, #5 Teach Grammar as a Concept and Use in Context, and #6 Provide Appropriate Oral Feedback) to the proposed new Illinois World Language Standards. 

• “Hot Topics” will return.

• ICTFL's Social Media Lounge will return.

• The Exhibits area will expand.
