| Title | New Materials for Heritage Spanish |
| Body | There are lots of new materials posted on the Classroom Activities tab of the Heritage Spanish website, hosted by our sister LRC, the Center for Open Educational Resources and Language Learning:
• In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, which is going on now, Professor Gabriela Zapata (Texas A&M) has created a website that provides information and activities on the celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month through the biographies of seven Tejanas.
• Evelyn Durán Urrea and a team at Lehman College have shared the online materials they created for use in their second semester heritage classes.
• Yanina Hernandez and Jose Esteban Hernandez have published “La identidad y la lengua”, a thematic Unit for Developing Writing and Critical Awareness in Heritage Spanish Courses.
